Copycat!

3 01 2010

I am going to copy Emily in her attempt to have a post where the pictures do the talking! And I’ll do it like Kailey does, with an explanation in brackets underneath. And I’ll do it all in the font “Teen” because that’s my favorite font.

Let the Photos do the Talking

[Bars and Peppermint Cups from Kerr Drug while waiting for Tamiflu! Thanks mom! I’ve only had one of the KIND bars]

Well that’s enough food photos for now…let’s talk about yoga. A few weeks ago, my mom got me this very nice yoga mat from Target. But I had asked for a Manduka for Christmas. But, my Christmas was crazy and I received so much, that my parents kind of ran out of money for me! They already spoil me 😉 And I got 50 dollars from an uncle, so i will be buying my yoga mat in a little while. For now, I will be using this perfectly usable yoga mat! I actually really like it. The rich brown color is very pretty!

I decided to unroll my yoga mat today and do a little ab work and stretches because I have been feeling a little better. Not much, but it’s progress! 100_9253 100_9254 100_9255 100_9287 100_9288 I did some basic Pilates and Whittle My Middle II’s moves. I followed that with some basic yoga stretches…some down dogs, hip openers, and hamstring stretches! Felt great! But afterwards, I got a headache and definitely needed to refuel! I have to be very careful with my pneumonia. I have not been to the gym in well over a week, and I am beginning to get antsy. But my mom and grandma say that is a sign that I am getting better!

I stepped on the scale today (which I rarely do, if ever) and it was much lower than I anticipated and less than a couple days ago at the doctors. I am eating less because my stomach is off and my appetite is totally suppressed because of my sickness. So…I’m trying to eat more and listen to myself but my stomach is just SO off. But it will all be okay! My body will eventually get back to normal.

I am just so sick of being sick!

But you know what helps…anything? All Natural Hot Chocolate 😀 100_8356 Snuggle up…how cute is that?? 100_9290 100_9291 100_9292 100_9293 Christmas mug, don’t hate! 100_9294 Verse of the Day: Psalm 105:4

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Last but certainly not least…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEAB!!

Have a great night everyone! Love you allllll!

❤ jess

xoxo

Love this new background, and such a fun post! With the yoga mat, I’d say just find a mat YOU like. If this one works, then stick with it. Honestly, you won’t find a HUGE difference from one mat to another. I do use a Manduka and I love it, but I know there are tons out there that are great!

Hope you feel better soon hun!

The Mango, Red, & Green Pepper Salsa looks PERFECT for me. Clean, simple, easy, delish. And the Starbucks and the great bars you snagged, awesome!

Manduka= the best yoga mat on the earth. Period. I am not being paid to say that. That’s my experience after trying 50+ brands and styles of yoga mats the past 10 yrs as a student and a yoga teacher. You will have it forever. It’s more $ upfront but it will last you forever. Period. Write me when you get it, to tell me!!! yay for you!!!!

MAJORLY JEALOUS OF THE BARS!

If I had to describe my idea of heaven it would be a beautiful place where everyone is happy, beautiful, healthy and lives in houses made out of the tastiest bars ever!

But enough about my madness, loving the salsa too! I’m gonna try and copy that as soon as I have mango’s again. I had the Ginger Bread Latte last year… I’m really into ginger lately – great stuff 😀
